Reflections III, ” shifts to the outside world and two conflicting places in my lockdown life. One is the shoreline at my place of work and my ‘escape’ from lockdown within my home. The other, hanging abstractly within the sky is my homeland, on the other side of the world. A place, in all of this pandemic that is beyond my reach as it is turned upside down. The barbs of wire spell the phrase, ‘It is still life’ in semaphore coding, as it sits in between these two worlds, protecting me yet preventing me.” ~ Catriona Maciver 2020
