‘My artmaking is concerned with making work in response to domestic spaces and gardens people create as sanctuaries from their otherwise busy worlds. 2020 presented challenges with COVID-19 and an injury restricting my engagement with a wider world. Watching the everchanging light, seasonal foliage and sunshine in my small courtyard drew me out daily and health was restored.’ ~ Christine Druitt Preston 2022.
