The Golden Ute , 2021

Acrylic and Oil on canvas, 70x100cm

As children, my sister and I would visit our grandparents farm in Gunnedah. One of our most cherished memories was riding on the back of the golden ute, with the dog Ping, snapping furiously at the grass as we drove past the crops and cattle. We would grip tightly onto the silver metal bar behind and sing songs as grandpa drove us around to all of the key locations.
