Congratulations to Graham Marchant, named as finalist in the 2014 Silk Cut Award, for his linocut Boboli Gardens, Florence.

The Silk Cut Award for Linocut Prints was introduced in 1995 to promote the making, appreciation and understanding of contemporary linocut printmaking in Australia.
Conducted by The Silk Cut Foundation Inc. the Award has always aimed to provide creative opportunities for artists of all ages.

A unique and vital part of the Award is the ongoing gift from The Silk Cut Foundation Inc. to the National Gallery of Australia (NGA), made up of winning and acquired prints from each year of the Award.
